Spiralyze is a data-driven A/B testing company headquartered in the United States. Our clients include major brands such as edX, Rapid7, TechSmith, VWO, Neil Patel, and many more. We use design and optimization to help our clients generate more revenue from their website traffic.

About the Role:

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) and A/B Testing are newer fields, so we don’t expect people to have any experience! In addition to CRO skills, you will have the opportunity to learn about UX/UI research. 

As a Researcher, you will perform detailed research for our clients, analyze the gathered data, and present your findings to the internal team. The research is based on consumer psychology. You will discover what motivates online users to behave the way they do. Develop an understanding of what consumers are looking for and how to create a better user experience online based on your findings.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the Head of Research and Project Managers to determine research objectives and timeline
  • Assist in developing unique research tactics that will benefit our clients 
  • Design surveys, questionnaires, polls, and interviews specific to each client 
  • Manage multiple research tasks while staying on top of strict deadlines
  • Compile your research into easy-to-understand presentations and documents that can be shared with our clients

Typical Research Task:

We work with companies across all industries, including software, fashion, B2B, entertainment, and lifestyle brands. The task below is indicative of a typical task we would do for a client.

Example: We start working with a client who sells HR and payroll software

You will:

  • Conduct market research into HR & payroll solutions, including all competitors in the field
  • Find and interview customers who have researched various brands, find out what they are looking for in a quality HR software, what they don’t like in a HR software, what makes them prefer one brand over another, etc.
  • Interview our client’s sales team to find out what kinds of questions their customers are asking
  • Conduct objection polls on our client’s website and do a cluster analysis of responses
  • Run heatmaps and user recordings on our client’s websites to determine how users are navigating the site
  • Compile all collected information into a presentation for our client 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Great communication skills - candidates must be able to express ideas clearly and confidently
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks while meeting strict deadlines
  • The ability to search for, locate, extract, organize, evaluate, and use or present information in response to a specific research question or  testing hypothesis
  • Proficiency with Google Suite or the equivalent (word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software)
  • Comfortable working independently and as a member of a team
